The DM10 X Kit Six-Piece Electronic Drum Set by Alesis is a six-piece, professional electronic drum set with full-size 10 and 12" drum pads paired with 12, 14 and 16" cymbals. Also included is the Alesis DM10 drum module with over 1,000 premium drum sounds, acoustic-like RealHead drum pads and the heavy-duty XRack support system. The DM10 X Kit has ten drum and cymbal pads which are similar, if not the same size as some of the most popular acoustic drums and cymbals available. This gives the pads a more natural feel making you nearly forget you're playing electronic drums. The rugged XRack is chrome-plated and features a sturdy four-post design providing stability and security for the hefty, full-size drum pads. Quick-release clamps allow each pad to be fully secured on the XRack or rearranged within seconds without the use of tools or having to disassemble a thing. Just give the T-bolt a few spins and place the pads wherever you like. The snare pad comes with a separate, fully adjustable stand which also allows you to position it precisely for optimum snare placement. Alesis acoustic-feeling, RealHead dual-zone pads are constructed of real Mylar drumheads and triple-flanged counter hoops for the ultimate in realistic, acoustic drum feel. The dual-zone functionality enables you to perform rimshots or assign auxiliary percussion sounds such as wind chimes, cymbals, gongs and cowbells on the rim of the snare or tom pads.
