New for 2011, the Yamaha DTX500K Electronic Drum Set is your best value in a full featured quality electronic drum set. The DTX500K is the most affordable of the drum sets that feature the excellent new DTX500 Drum Module from Yamaha with 427 of the best drum, percussion and effects sounds you have ever heard. As an extra bonus, it is the only drum set in the series that includes a Yamaha Bass Drum Pedal. Your Yamaha DTX500K Electronic Drum Set comes with four snare / tom pads, two cymbal pads, a hi-hat pad with pedal controller and a bass drum pad along with the pre-assembled RS40 Drum Rack which is designed for easy set-up and transport. The pads have a traditional and familiar 'practice pad' surface with excellent stick rebound. You can also expand or upgrade your drum set with the acclaimed Yamaha DTX-PADs with true acoustic feel and response.
